One of South Africa’s best diving destinations, Aliwal Shoals has several smaller dive sites, and is an absolutely spectacular underwater world, with dolphins and whales, manta rays and turtles, angelfish and butterfly fish, and an entire parade of various shark species in attendance. Most diving here is for experienced divers, as currents and conditions are unpredictable.
