Can I dive alone?

You should never dive alone.  Diving with a buddy ensures your safety because there is someone there to help you should something go wrong.  If for some reason you wish to dive alone, as some divers do if they are highly experienced or are underwater photographers, then you need to take special training on how to dive alone, learning all sorts of new ways of coping with potential emergency situations.
