Can I dive if I have epilepsy?

This is a similar situation to that of asthma and diabetes.  If a diver has epilepsy and requires medication to control it, then there is a greater risk that a seizure might occur underwater.  A seizure underwater almost always leads to drowning.  A person with epilepsy or otherwise prone to seizures should not dive or should at the very least, consult with a neurologist first.
