How can older divers prevent the onset of aging and still continue to dive?

Older divers should have regular checkups with their physician to detect the onset of any chronic disease and should stay active by exercising on a regular basis. Additionally, by accepting the fact that you are getting older often helps individuals realize certain limitations which can help prevent accidents. Eating a healthy diet rich in antioxidants and a balance of carbohydrates will help maintain energy stores and fight off degenerative diseases.  Lastly, it is imperative that older divers stay well hydrated; by following these steps, you will help prevent the onset of aging and enjoy the very sport you love.
