If you have experienced and been treated for decompression sickness (DCS) as a result of diving, flying afterwards will depend on the duration and the severity of your symptoms. In general, if you have suffered acute symptoms of decompression sickness (DCS) you can travel by air approximately ten days after being treated and only after a final consultation with a dive medicine specialist.
