What animals eat marine plants?

Marine plants are eaten by a wide variety of animals.  After all, phytoplankton is essentially the base of the food chain in the ocean and is eaten by fish, krill, eels, baleen whales, and many marine invertebrates, such as jellyfish, sponges, coral, bivalves, and anemones.
