What should divers that want to capture underwater photographs look for when shopping around for a camera?

Obviously, the type of camera used for diving is unique to a traditional camera.  Therefore, it should have certain features such as a waterproof housing, external strobe flash, adequate memory, wide-angle lens, and macrolenses.  For underwater photography, a digital camera is without a doubt the top choice, preferably one in the 10 megapixel range, a camera that has digital print with the same level of clarity as negative film, and an LCD screen for real-time viewing.
