What should I do If I find out that I am pregnant after I have been diving?

While it is not recommended that you dive when pregnant as it has not been determined what effect the increased pressures have on the fetus, if you have been diving before you became aware of your pregnancy, then there really should be no cause for alarm.  The chances of anything happening to the fetus are very low.  If a dive injury occurs during the dive, then the woman's obstetrician and possibly a dive medicine specialist should be consulted.
