If you’re a dedicated technical diver, the 2013 Baltictech conference was created with you in mind. Poland might be cold in November, but this event is a hot one!
Location
The annual Baltictech Conference has been held at a variety of different venues in the past. This year, it takes place at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park (PSTP) in Gdynia, Poland.

This year’s conference is scheduled to take place Saturday, November 23rd, and Sunday, November 24th.
Conference Highlights
As in past years, this conference showcases several guest speakers who are historic experts in the field of wreck diving, with a focus on Baltic Sea wrecks and wreck diving. 2013 Baltictech conference speakers include:

Kevin Gurr – Famous for his role in bringing technical dive training to the UK as well as for his book, Technical Diving from the Bottom Up, Kevin Gurr is an interesting speaker with a real passion for all things tech diving.

Dr. Dmitri Gorski – Famous for his cave explorations, Dr. Gorski will be covering topics including cave mapping and rebreather diving.

Becky Kagan Schott – An Emmy Award-winning underwater filmmaker whose work has aired on The National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet, and the Discovery Channel, Becky Kagan Schott will be presenting a fantastic lecture on the Maya Underworld. Do not miss this presentation!
