A trip to the famous Lighthouse Reef Atoll and Belize’s Blue Hole is available as an add-on to the existing package, which includes Barrier Reef diving. The dive boat departs at 6:00 AM, as Lighthouse Reef and the Blue Hole are located about 50 miles from Hamanasi’s pier. A little more than two hours later, you’ll find yourself experiencing a world-famous dive site like none other.

The Blue Hole is situated near the center of Lighthouse Reef, and is perfectly circular in shape. It is approximately 300 meters across and 124 meters deep, and is part of the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Made famous by none other than Jacques-Yves Cousteau during his landmark 1971 exploration, it was ranked first among the Discovery Channel’s list of the ten most amazing places on Earth.

The second dive of the day takes place at Half Moon Caye wall, while the third happens at Long Caye’s famous Aquarium site. Visitors regularly enjoy visibility of 100 feet or better at all three sites.
