Nudibranchs are mostly carnivorous and usually range for their food, although as they move about on a large foot, much like land slugs and snails do, they are slow movers. They eat algae as well as a variety of creatures, including sponges, jellyfish, corals, barnacles, anemones, and even other nudibranchs. It is also interesting to note that some nudibranchs have a diet that consists of one type of food, such as nudibranchs that feed only on mollusk eggs or those that only feed on a certain species of sponge.
