What should divers over 60 years of age consider before diving?

There are several people who are older divers and who enjoy recreational diving. It is essential to have an annual health check with a physician to screen for any problems such as high blood pressure or diabetes. In particular divers must be free of any cardiovascular problems. Physical fitness is a key factor in diving and divers of any age should swim well and be able to get in and out of a boat easily. Keeping fit is an essential part of an older person’s way of maintaining a healthy body and regular exercise is a must do.
