Yes, you can get what is called altitude decompression sickness, which is caused by the pressure change of flying at altitude and can be brought on if a diver flies too soon after having been diving, even at altitudes as low as 1500 m (5000 feet). This is because any nitrogen bubbles that might be left in the body have not had adequate time to dissolve after diving. This is especially true if a diver has been deep diving or altitude diving.
