There are both national and international conservation agencies worldwide that take part in marine conservation. International agencies include Oceana, the Ocean Conservancy, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, Blue Ocean Institute, and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Countries such as the United States, Canada, England/UK, Australia, and New Zealand have national agencies that work to protect marine resources and habitats as well.
